Cleaning daily or at least weekly will help keep your Shower Screens looking new . Always use a mild detergent that is specifically designed for use with glass and keep away from products that have grit as this will cause scratches. Avoid cleaners that contain Hydrofluric or Phosphoric acid as they are corrosive to glass surfaces. Finish by polishing your glass using a dry lint free cloth.

AS1288 – Australian Standard 1288 states that frameless shower screens need to use Safety Glass, also known as Grade A Safety Glazing Materials. The standard also specifies that Safety Glass may be used up to a maximum size for a specific thickness. This ensures that the application of glass stays within the designed stress limits of the safety glass. For more information please contact us. AS2208 – Australian Standard 2208 states that Safety Glass needs to be hardened to a particular quality. The Safety Glass must also produce a desirable fracture characteristic – the glass must fragment into a minimum number of pieces per square inch . Glass supplied by FRAMELESS WAREHOUSE complies with these Australian Standards.
